French Delegation meet their counterpart to strengthen France-India Ties

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri hosted the Delegation to discuss on Global issues

Members of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and the Armed Forces of the French Senate, led by Catherine Dumas began an official India visit on 19 May 2025 to strengthen France-India bilateral strategic ties and parliamentary cooperation.
The visiting members paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Birla House on Tuesday. Foreign Secretary of India, Vikram Misri hosted the French Senate’s Parliamentary Standing Committee with a fruitful discussions on France-India ties, global issues and steps to build on PM Narendra Modi’s recent France visit.
The visiting delegation also called on their Indian counterparts. They discussed parliamentary cooperation, India-France strategic partnership and people-to-people ties.
