Two time Olympics medalist Neeraj Chopra achieved his personal best in Javelin with a throw of 90.23 metre, and got the second position in the Doha Diamond League. With this he set a new National record.
Julian Weber of Germany won with a throw of 91.06 metre, Anderson Peters of Grenada got third place with a throw of 85.54 metre.
Kishor Jena of India got 8th position with 78.60 metre throw.
The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has congratulated Neeraj Chopra for breaching the 90 m mark at Doha Diamond League 2025 and achieving his personal best throw. “This is the outcome of his relentless dedication, discipline and passion”, PM Modi added.
