Hyderabad City Police Road Restriction Advisory for Miss World 2025

The 72nd Edition of the Miss World pageant, to be held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, Telangana, India on 31 May 2025. Current Miss World Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event.

Joint Commissioner of Hyderabad Traffic Police issued the advisory of road diversion.

In connection with “72nd MISS WORLD 2025 HERITAGE WALK AT CHARMINAR & WELCOME DINNER AT CHOWMAHALLA PALACE, Hyderabad, the roads leading from Madina to Charminar, Charminar to Shalibanda, Shalibanda(Rajesh Medical Hall) to Volga Junction and Volga junction to Moosabowli Via Khilwat Road will be restricted for all types of vehicular movement from 1400 hours to 2300 hours on 13-05-2025. Traffic will be diverted at the following points.

DIVERSION POINTS

1. MADINA JUNCTION: – The traffic coming from Nayapool towards Charminar will be diverted at Madina junction towards City College.

2. HIMMATPURA: – The Traffic coming from Nagulchintha/Shalibanda areas towards Charminar will be diverted at Himmatpura Junction, towards Hari Bowli and Volga Junction to Fateh Darwaza Road.

3. VOLGA JUNCTION: – The Traffic coming from Himmatpura will not be allowed towards Chawmohalla Palace and it will be diverted Volga Junction towards Fateh Darwaza and traffic coming from Fateh Darwaza will be diverted towards Himmitpura Vice Versa.

4. MOOSABOWLI: – The Traffic coming from Puranapool(Good will café) will not be allowed towards Charminar/Chowmahalla Palace and it will be diverted at Moosabowli towards City College and fateh darwaza via doodbowli.

5. CHOWK MAIDAN KAMAN: – The traffic coming from Chowk Maidan towards Charminar will be diverted at chowk maidan towards Kotla Aliza or Moghalpura side.

6. ETEBAR CHOWK: – The Traffic coming from Etebar Chowk area towards Gulzarhouse will be diverted at Etebar Chowk towards Mandi Miralam Market or Bibi Bazar.

7. SHER E BAITUL KAMAN: – The Traffic coming from Mitti Ka Sher will not be allowed towards Gulzar House and it will be diverted at Mitti-ke-Sher Junction towards Ghansi Bazaar to reach High court road.

8. LAKKAD KOTE (OLD CP OFFICE JUNCTION): – The traffic coming from APAT side towards charminar will be diverted at Lakkad Kote towards (Old CP Office Lane) and Mirlam Mandi Market (on need basis)

These restrictions apply to the RTC buses also. City Buses coming towards Charminar will be terminated at Afzalgunj, City buses coming from Falaknuma towards Charminar will be diverted at shamsheergunj towards tadban. RTC buses going to districts via Nayapool, Madina from MGBS, Imlibun will proceed via: Chadarghat Rotary- Nalgonda X – Chanchalguda JUNCTION – Saidabad T Junction – I.S Sadan – DMRL Junction – Midhani Junction – MBNR Fly over – Bandlaguda – towards Aramghar.

Due to traffic diversions on 13th May 2025, the following junctions are expected to experience heavy congestion between 1400 hours to 2300 hours.

Ø Puranpool Darwaza – Good Will Cafe – M J Bridge – Delhi Gate – Nayapool – Dewan Devdi – Madina X Road – Mandi Kaman – Sheran Hotel/Burqah Bazar – Kali Kaman – Punchmohalla – Relax Hotel – Moghalpura Kaman – Ganesh Book – Himmatpura Junction – Volga Junction – Laldarwaza X Road – Aliabad Junction.
