Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, sold 442,873 units in January 2025. The company dispatched 412,378 units in the domestic market, while its global business maintained strong momentum with 30,495 units —achieving a robust 141% growth over the corresponding period last year (January 2024). This growth was driven by strong demand in key global markets, including Bangladesh and Colombia.
Hero MotoCorp’s electric vehicle (EV) brand – VIDA, dispatched 6,669 units of the newly launched VIDA V2 electric scooter, which starts at ₹96,000/-
During the month of January 2025, Hero MotoCorp launched five new products across multiple segments. Strengthening its presence in the premium motorcycle category, the company launched – the Xtreme 250R and Xpulse 210. Hero MotoCorp also expanded its scooter portfolio with the launch of the new Destini 125, Xoom 125 and Xoom 160 – a maxi scooter.
The motorsports team of Hero MotoCorp completed the Dakar Rally 2025 in an impressive 7th place, solidifying its reputation as a formidable competitor in global rally racing. This was the team’s second-best performance in nine years, following their remarkable 2nd place finish in 2024.
The motorsports team of Hero MotoCorp is also participating in the ongoing Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge 2025.
