Because of the biggest Cultural Congregation Mahakumbh at Prayagraj, GATE 2025 examinations on February 15th and 16th, 2025, shifted from Prayagraj to Lucknow.
In a statement issued by the GATE Organising Institute IIT Roorkee and JAM Organising Institute IIT Delhi, it is said: “Representations have been received from several candidates expressing their difficulty in reaching the examination centers in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh because of the huge congregation of devotees in Mahakumbh on February 15th and 16th, 2025.
Therefore, the examination scheduled at centers in Prayagraj has been shifted to centers in Lucknow on February 15th and 16th, 2025.
