Prithvi Sekhar clinched the Singles title at the Australian Open Deaf Championship for the second consecutive year. He had won the Trophy in 2024 as well.

His remarkable achievement is a testament to the determination and hard work he possesses. He has made the nation proud.

He has brought many laurels to the country earlier. He won a bronze medal partnering Jafreen Sheikh in the mixed doubles at the 2017 Summer Deaflympics, Men’s Single world title at the World Deaf Tennis Championships, Bronze medal in doubles event at the 2019 World Championships.

Representing India he had won three medals in the 2021 Summer Deaflympics.

Prithvi Sekhar started playing tennis at the age of 8, he had one choice from tennis and cricket. But he chose tennis with which he excelled to earn the applause.
