‘Uttarakhand Festival’ was organized by  Amar Sandesh News for the first time in Press Club of India (PCI), New Delhi on 3 January 2025. Chief Guest Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Former Governer of Maharashtra, Goa, and Former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand inaugurated the festival.

With the Gorgious Cultural Programs the spectators enjoyed the typical and traditional foods of Kumaon, Garhwal and Jounsar.

A seminar was also organized on ‘Environment Awareness’ where speaker Dr Hari Suman Bist and Retired IAS Kulanand Joshi put their valuable thoughts. The focus point was how important it is to conserve the environment for the next generation to keep us healthy.

Focusing on the environment B S Koshyari said that the visionary prime minister Narendra Modi had been trying to solve the issues on Cleanliness, Open defecation to make the environment healthy. The Government is trying to make maximum numbers of Toilet in the rural India to upgrade the standard of leaving.

The mission of ‘A tree for mother’, launched by PM Modi has great impact to the citizens and people are planting trees in great numbers.

An impactful Play on ‘Save the Environment’ was performed by the students of The Great Mission Public School, which was well accepted by the audience.

The stage was adorned by the renowned national and international artists of Uttarakhand. The great names who made the stage lively include director Dr Govind Pandey, music director Virendra Negi & Babita Pandey, Choreographer Chandra Bist.

Spectators enjoyed the folk songs and  typical Uttarakhandi dance by Artists like Bhuvan Rawat, Diwan Kanwal, Asha Negi, Bhagwati Negi, Geeta Gusain Negi, Mamta Bhatt, Tulika, Mahendra Latwaal, Harish Rawat, Akhilesh Bhatt, Govind Mahato, Bhupal Singh Bist, G S Bist etc.

The folk songs and dance with the traditional attire by the artists made the stage Devbhoomi Uttarakhand.
