On 23 April 2014, oneplus came to the news in India with their first phone launch, OnePlus One. The company had its own set of ideas for the Mobile World Congress.
Pete Lau & Carl Pei together set benchmarks in sales because of their unique approach through the years. In October 2020 Carl Pei left the company because of certain disagreements and started a new venture called NOTHING.
Since then, Oneplus has developed new product lineups like earbuds, Digital Watch, and tablet to expand their ecosystem. And Buds Pro 2 is one of them. But sadly oneplus is slowly slowly losing its identity.
It’s been more than a year I have been using this earbud and it compelled me to write something about it. The value it offers at this price point is a no-brainer.
Oneplus Buds Pro 2 launched on 14 February 2023. And that time it launched with 48 db noise cancellation with dual drivers and 39 hours of playback. An extra feature that oneplus also didn’t highlight is while in ambient mode if you are in traffic and someone honking. It mutes the honking which will damage your hearing.
I listened to music on both Apple Airpod Pro and oneplus buds pro 2 side by side, in every aspect Buds Pro was crystal with bass and was sounding better in all aspects. Why spend Rs 20,000, if you find the same value at Rs 8000?
Now if you are an Apple fan go with Airpod Pro. But after a discount the value and the quality of oneplus buds pro 2 is commendable. Regardless if you have a budget and you do not depend upon discounts oneplus buds pro 3 is out now.
