President Appoints Chief Justices and Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in High Courts

In exercise of the power conferred by the Constitution of India, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu after consultation with Chief Justice of India, appointed the Chief Justices and Additional Judges as Permanent Judges in High Courts.

According to a PIB Press Release G.S. Sandhawalia appointed as the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, Guhanathan Narendar, appointed as the Chief Justice of Uttarakhand High Court, Ramachandra Dattatray Huddar, Venkatesh Naik Thavaryanaik and Vijaykumar Adagouda Patil, appointed as the Addl. Judges of Karnataka High Court, Rajesh Rai Kallangala appointed as  Permanent Judge of Karnataka High Court with effect from the date on or after 1st February, 2025, when he assumes charge of his office, Justice Shalinder Kaur and Ravinder Dudeja appointed as Permanent Judge of Delhi High Court.
