Introduction
Suppose you are tired of carrying big phones and still need a compact phone with a 6.7-inch screen, then Samsung S24 Plus is for you. It barely has any bezel with this compact form factor still it clicks all the boxes making it worthy to be called a flagship. Samsung now-a-days launches its products at high prices but according to records, it gives you discounts from time to time. So with discounts, these phones get more bang for one’s buck.
Why it stands out
Well, it has the same display as s24 Ultra having more ppi around 513 and more screen-to-body ratio of around ~91.3%. Armour aluminium which is more durable than normal aluminium. Gorilla glass Victus 2(front & back). Exynos 2400(4nm) is more than enough to handle heavy tasks like gaming and video editing. Same camera setup as 24 ultra except the 50mp 5x telephoto zoom. Battery 4900mah which is enough for more than one day of usage and IP68 dust & water resistant and weight around 197 grams which is lighter than most of the flagships. Onboard AI is the cherry on top.
What it lacks
Where it has the same display as the S24 Ultra but lacks the anti-reflection coating that makes the 24Ultra stand out from all its predecessors/competitors. But keep in mind you want a compact phone. instead of Corning Gorilla Armor, you are getting victus 2. Armour Aluminium instead of Titanium grade 2. They could have put more battery capacity and 100x zoom but keep in mind they had to keep the phone slimmer also. Exynos 2400(4nm) instead of snapdragon gen 3 which runs hotter and slower than snapdragon variants. Putting a larger battery could have been better.
Conclusion
Regardless of not having all the features like S24 ultra, most of the users will not notice the difference. It is basically a compact S24 ultra at marginally less price having most of the features excluding things which you will not need on a daily basis like a 5x telephoto Or 100x zoom or Titanium body (either way you will end up putting a case on it). Nevertheless if you are a snapdragon soc fan then unfortunately this phone is available only with exynos chips in India. But according to my daily usage I didn’t feel any difference. This phone is well rounded, compact and affordable compared to the value it is giving after discounts.
