New Delhi | | 08-11-2024 The Festival of Faith, Devotion and Gratitude Chhath Puja is observed in India. People gathered at Chhath Ghat to offer Arghya to the rising Sun.
People did Puja early in the morning today. The beleive is that Chhathi Maiyaa(Mother Chhathi) will bring prosperity and good health to the whole society in the coming year.

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi also extended warm wishes to the citizens on the holy occasion of Subah ke Arghya of Chhath today and remarked that the four-day rituals of Mahaparv Chhath fill citizens with new energy and enthusiasm.
The Prime Minister posted on X:
“The glimpse of nature and culture seen through the four-day ritual of Mahaparva Chhath is going to fill a new energy and enthusiasm among the countrymen. Many congratulations to all the countrymen on the auspicious occasion of morning Arghya.”
