New Delhi || 07-11-2024 Ministry of External Affairs reacted strongly to Temple Attack in Brampton, Canada. Speaking to the Media, Spokesperson of Ministry of External Affairs Randhir Jaiswal on 7 Nov, 2024 confirmed that Consular Camp in Toronto, Canada is cancelled which are to plying to organize over the weekend. The message has been posted on X.

Because they did not get adequate security or security assurance from the host Government, they had to cancel it.
He further said, “We have large diaspora in Canada, Many of these people around in the month of November and December, they need several documentations for continuation of their pensions and several other activities here in India. So this Consular Camp that we do is helpful for the Community to both the people of Indian nationality and Indian origin, but Canadian Nationalist today “.
Spokesperson Jaiswal confirmed that other parts of Canada like Vancouver, Consular Camps will be conducted. These Camps are conducted at the request of the community organizations. So where will be the community organizations will be comfortable it will go ahead with the Consular Camps.
MEA spokesperson condemned the Attacks on Hindu Temple in Brampton. He said “We also called upon the Canadian Government to uphold rule of Law and to bring to justice people who perpetrated the violence. We hope that the Canadian Government will take due action.”
