New Delhi || 02-11-2024 The Second Day of the 3rd Test between India and New Zealand remained even steve for both the teams. At stumps New Zealand is at 171/9 with a lead of 143 runs.
Day 2 was also favorable for the spinners. In the second innings New Zealand did not have a good start when Tom Latham was bowled by Akash Deep in the first over. The Kiwis slipped to 44/3.
Once again Will Young came to the rescue with a brilliant half century. He also had a half century in the first innings. Considering the pitch it was really a good innings, as no other Black Cap batters were able to get a big score.
Spinners are having a wonderful time bowling at Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium. Ravindra Jadeja had a figure of 4/52 and Ravichandran Ashwin 3/63.
The ultimate moment in the match was when R Ashwin took a running backward catch off  R Jadeja to out Daryl Mitchel.
